Happy Birthday to Carson who is one month old today! We celebrated by going to visit great grandma Nellie in Charles City. She was very happy to meet him.
When we got home, we put him on his stomach and he wasn’t happy with the tummy time, so he rolled right over onto his back! We were very impressed! (He did it twice, so we’re pretty sure it wasn’t a fluke!)

Or in this case LET IT ICE/RAIN! Crazy weather has forced us to cancel our plans of having my family come for dinner tonight! We will hopefully be able to reschedule before Carson visits us.
Speaking of Carson, on the 12th we are scheduled to have another ultrasound. Erin is now measuring at 37 weeks, even though she’s only 34 weeks along! We are glad about the 2nd ultrasound because on the first he was shy and would not show us his face. We are hoping to see it this time around. Hopefully he is just long and not too big, otherwise he may be coming sooner than we expected!
Our Christmas tree is up. Rusty’s happy that we are using our little, white fiber optic tree instead of messing with a real tree (Erin’s preferred tree).
Miles Abrams turned 1 on November 15th. Today we attended his first birthday party! We had a great time and wish Miles many more wonderful birthdays to come. Pictures can be viewed under the photo link!

On November 11 2007 Alicia and Trisha had a baby shower for us! Many thanks to them for an awesome day!
I was very reluctant to go…thinking to myself that baby showers are traditionally for the mother to be and women. I guess the new thing is couple showers. I did not want to go, but due to some severe arm twisting, I agreed. Thanks Lili for an awesome time at the shower.
I will be starting my new job with the USPS. My first day is July 24th. I will be starting as a clerk working at the downtown Iowa City Post Office.
Fingers and toes are crossed! I am waiting for that super important phone call.
